Annual intake: Total Annual intake is 60. Out of total 60 seats available, 40 seats shall be filled in by the university from among the candidates based on their performance in the written entrance test. The other 20 seats shall be nominated by the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat. Unnominated seats shall be transferred to general quota. Eligibility criteria: A candidate who has passed the Bachelor's degree examination in M.B.B.S., B.D.S., B.Sc (Nursing), B.P.T., Bachelor of Occupational Therapy, Bachelor of Optometric, B.Pharm, B.H.M.S., B.A.M.S., B.Sc (Bio-tech), from any recognized university with minimum 50 percent marks will be considered eligible for admission to the programme leading to the degree of Master of Hospital Management (M.H.M.) of this University subject. Preference will be given in chronological order for the above mentioned degrees for selection. A written test of 100 marks would be conducted to select the candidate. Entrance Examination: Each eligible candidate shall be required to appear and to qualify at a written test being conducted by the University for an admission to Master of Hospital Management. There will be only one common Entrance examination for the Master of Hospital Management course, consisting of 100 Multiple-Choice questions with the following Sections (A to E). A. Medicine & Para Medicine Knowledge B. Logical & Quantitative reasoning C. Numerical Ability D. Vocabulary, English comprehensions & Grammar E. Current Affairs ( Exam will be of 100 Marks and each section will carry 20 Marks. ) The test will be of 1½ hours duration (90 minutes) Venue: Entrance Exams: The details about exam centre, location and timings, will be updated on the university website (www.ngu.ac.in ) Merit List: The Merit List for admission shall be in four categories:
On the exhaustion of first category, second category shall be considered and that would be the pattern for rest of the lists. The Merit List declared on the website would be final and counseling would be done accordingly at the University Campus. No personal information about the results would be given. The decision of the Vice-Chancellor shall be final and binding. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. Accommodation: Separate Hostel facility is available for boys and girls. Reservation: State Government Reservation policy norms shall apply to the 40 seats to be filled in by the University. Application forms duly filled in should be submitted at the Department of Hospital Management. A detailed programme is available on the University website www.ngu.ac.in. The decision of the Vice-Chancellor shall be final and binding. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. Declaration of Merit list will be done on HNGU website and the counselling will be done accordingly . No Personal intimation will be done about the result and admission. Candidates are asked to visit HNGU website for the same. |
